What is Gift Aid?

Gift Aid is a government scheme that helps charities claim back the tax paid on eligible donations. That means your support can go further. For every £1 you donate to Working Animals International, we can claim an extra 25p at no extra cost to you.

To qualify for Gift Aid, you must be a UK taxpayer and have paid at least as much Income Tax and/or Capital Gains Tax in the relevant tax year as the total Gift Aid claimed on all your donations. If you have paid less than that amount, it is your responsibility to pay the difference.
