Description

Saathee the camel has worked alongside his owner, Devalal, for 10 years, helping to extract gravel from a river in Tonk, Rajasthan, to support Devalal’s family. When Saathee’s leg was injured by a passing motorcycle one evening, Devalal brought him to the mobile clinic of our local partner Help in Suffering. The animal health team cleaned Saathee’s infected wound with antiseptic, bandaged it and gave him antibiotics and pain relief. Saathee’s recovery took three weeks, with regular follow-up visits to monitor his progress. Your gift will be used where it is needed most.
