Hold a SPANA World Tea Party with a virtual twist!
Since 2015 our supporters have been hosting SPANA tea parties, with themes from around the world. As the vaccination roll-out continues, we are encouraging our supporters to raise funds for sick and injured working animals this summer by hosting a virtual SPANA World Tea Party.
A virtual World Tea Party is a great way to catch-up online with friends, family and colleagues. Enjoy a hot drink and a cake and help support the working animals of the world in the comfort of your own home. There are many different platforms being used for such events, so why don’t you give it a go?
The funds raised from donations will help us provide more free veterinary treatment to working animals in developing countries across the world, including Morocco and Ethiopia. Many of the world’s most poverty-stricken people rely entirely on these animals for their livelihoods, but without SPANA they often have no access to veterinary care, or the means to pay for it.
With a pot of tea, delicious cakes and great conversation, you can help working animals and have a wonderful time too! By using an online fundraising page such as JustGiving or Virgin Money Giving, your donations can easily be collected and all funds will be sent directly to us.

Not sure which platform to choose? Here is a step-by-step guide into the most popular virtual events platforms – Zoom, Facebook or Google.
Please don’t hesitate to get in touch with any questions or queries you may have about hosting your World Tea Party, by emailing events@spana.org or calling us on 020 7831 3999.
